A South African woman has found herself trending on social media after she created a life-sized replica cake of Grammy winner Black Coffee.
Limpopo-based cake artist Kurhula Makhuvele of Fine Bakes left Mzansi in awe after she showcased a giant cake of DJ Black Coffee she baked.
Makhuvele decided to bake the cake after the internationally acclaimed South African Dj and producer won a Grammy Award at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
He won the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album and became the first African DJ to win the prestigious award.
Posting the cake on Facebook, Makhuvele revealed that this was the first tallest cake they have ever made.
“It’s a piece CAKEA life size Cake of DJ @realblackcoffeeThe tallest cake we have ever made, 2 meters tall and weighs more than 100kgs. There are 84 layers of cake sponges on this cake
Had so much fun making this cake
,” she exclaimed.
Pictures of the magnificent cake have since gone viral on social media platforms. Netizens are wowed by the cake and have been showering the baker with praise. Social media users have already started tagging Black Coffee so that he sees the cake.
