Zola 7 made headlines after Nota claimed that the Kwaito star was not doing very well.

According to Nota, Zola 7 was “not doing well nor is he looking good”.

TshisaLIVE reported that Zola 7’s personal assistant Siki Kunene said Nota’s comments were not correct.

“All those things he said are utter rubbish. He’s just trying to create hype over nothing. The truth is Bonginkosi is fine. He’s got epilepsy. He is taking chronic medication for it.”

Since then, social media users called on everyone who can help Zola to check on him and render assistance in any way possible.

Celebrities like Shauwn Mkhize, Big Zulu, and a few others have since reached out to him following the news of his poor health and financial condition.

Meanwhile, Zola 7, real name Bonginkosi Dlamini has thanked South Africans for the massive outpouring of love they have been showing him.

In a Facebook post published recently, Zola uGuluva said:

“I’ve received hundreds of texts asking for my banking details. I see I’m trending on Twitter and plenty of people are offering financial assistance as gratitude. I’ve never expected anything in return for the help I’ve given people in need but this is truly humbling. Initially I rejected this notion ngoba I’m a proud nguni man kodwa futhi kuthiwa ungabo jikisa isipho osphiwa sona. Ngakho, ngiyabonga Guluva Nation. I can’t respond to all of you kodwa here are the banking details eniwacelile. #namanje.”
