Reality show star Ongeziwe Percy Malwandle Madonsela has passed away. His passing was confirmed by Moja Love through a tribute message last night.
His cause of death remains unclear at the moment. In a comment sent to ZAlebs by the channel, they confirmed the passing of the star and paid tribute to him.
“Moja LOVE is saddened by the passing of MaLwandle, a cast member of Umndeni. He was a colourful spirit that brought so much life to the production. Moja LOVE extends its condolences to his family and friends. May God give them strength and healing through this difficult time and his soul rest in peace.“
The reality show star won the hearts of many people with her flamboyant personality on Moja Love’s reality show Umndeni. With all the drama, the show constantly leaves viewers on the edge of their seats. Umndeni tackles issues of polygamy, homosexuality, and traditional practices. Malwandle was first introduced to Mzansi during the first season of the show. He was in a relationship with Maseko also known as Gobela. Maseko is involved in both sexual relationships with males and females.
Malwandle trended last week about allegedly faking his brother’s death, but it was later revealed he was still alive. Tweeps have reacted to his passing.

His death comes shortly after the passing of TV actor Siyanda Sesimani who was laid to rest this past weekend. The actor died on March 11 after his house was invaded and he was attacked. He spent a couple of days in hospital and succumbed to the injuries.
In a very touching letter, his mother Noluthando Sesimani expressed how much she hoped for his recovery. “To my pumpkin. If I only knew that this day would come, I had known to prepare myself for this day, the day it would be my last day to spend my time with you. Oh Lord, had you told me, because you knew, and I had no idea at all.
“Seeing you lying in that bed, bruised and in pain, helpless and disconnected to your true being. The Siyanda full of so much life and energy, always with laughter. How I wished you could open your eyes and say to me ‘Titi’ for the very last time. ‘Say it again nana. Call me Titi,’ she wrote.
According to her, their bond was more like that of a brother and sister than that of a mother and daughter. “I would sometimes forget that I was your mother. It never felt like that to me. We had the best brother and sister relationship, that’s what I always loved about us. I know you loved me my boy. You loved me very much. You were a happy chap, a dreamer, a lover, very inquisitive, always hyper and made sure you get what you want. You were a sensitive with a very big heart. You were my boy, my only boy. My first experience in motherhood when I knew nothing. I even named you after my Afrikaans teacher’s child.” – ZAlebs
